Sup, y'all! At Sunrise SUP you'll find the outfit tucked up on a sandy beach at Pier 7 Marina on the South River, just south of the bridge. The area offers peaceful sunrise and sunset views, calm waters with varying viewpoints whether you head up or down river. The numerous nearby creeks leave new adventures to explore on every outing. If you pay attention, you'll see herons and egrets, even osprey diving deep for their prey. Geese and ducks always put on a song and a dance, which is entertaining for the kid and adult alike. For the more rigorous paddler, there's a straight shoot out to Thomas Point Lighthouse, giving you access to the elusive protector of the sea that few get to see up close. Be prepared for the paddle - take water, sunscreen, and shades!
With rentals available, along with instruction-led SUP classes, floga, social paddles and private events, you're sure to have a fun time on the water with Kate and her crew! Be sure to checkout the full moon sessions - paddle plus yin yoga to ring in the moon the best way possible. And, sometimes there's even a bonfire with s'mores!
