The happy hour is great, half price on all appetizers and beer, and other drink deals. Sushi is good too. I've never done the hibachi, but people are always lining up for it in the evenings.
Their half off appetizers and beer during happy hour specials are out of this world. The sushi is so fresh and the service is very friendly; be patient they're very nice people and are very accommodating! Julian is awesome too, thanks for the great host. Honestly though, if ur here for good sushi or hibachi then this is the place!
It is disrespectful to slander the President of the United States no matter what your feelings are. If you dissagree with the principles of a current administration you have that right, but don't destroy a hard working establishment by defiling their property.
The best is that the happy hour is 12-5 on Saturday/Sunday, so it's great for lots of cheap food and beer and to hang out and watch games at the bar. Service can be slow during these times because it's their slow period, but not so slow that it's ever been a hindrance.
Tables, chairs, and floors were greasy. Seriously my husband slipped on the way out. The food wasn't good. Our order was wrong. We ordered my daughter a meal and they forgot her chicken and gave her very very little food. We ended up sharing with her. Won't be back.
A few (+) years ago this was the go-to hibachi and overall restaurant in the local area to go to. It was always busy, had a wait to show its high demand, food was ALWAYS fantastic and the overall ambiance was comfortable and certainly date night friendly. The cooks were all fun, interactive and served a great meal. I believe once it went under new management is when the very obvious changes started to show. The food...I am not sure how, but gosh... it was a complete waste of money. The sushi is so-so, but would rather head over to Nova in the shopping center next door. The ambiance is the same it was YEARS ago, except worse... kind of felt like I was in a cafeteria with how bright the lighting was. The cooks looked miserable and barely interacted with the guests. This place had such a great thing going, but now I know many people who would rather take the much longer trip to Waugh Chapel to visit the Fugi there.
The hibachi chief had good personality and skill level. The waitresses were quick with drinks and apps. Cleanliness was good. The quality of the food was worth the cost. We ordered sushi and it was well prepared and presented. My only major complaint was the giant F#$% TRUMP scratched into the bathroom wood wall. (Come on people!) Sand down the wood and re stain.
